SFuels ZONE 5 Gel exclusively uses rapid gut transit carbohydrates such as Maltodextrin and Fructose while avoiding slower transit sugars like glucose.  The ratio of Maltodextrin to Fructose in SFuels ZONE 5 Gel is a 2:1 ratio. This is based on the original research looking at optimum methods of Fructose-Maltodextrin co-ingestion, to raise overall carbohydrate oxidation to peak rates. SFuels ZONE 5 Gel, is not intended for daily-training usage. This helps
athletes avoid the de-training effects (blunted aerobic adaptions) from day-to-day over-consumption of Fructose.
