The Orca Apex Flow wetsuit, formerly known as the Orca Predator model, stands out as the most advanced wetsuit in the Orca range, thanks to its unique flexibility and buoyancy. It is designed primarily for more advanced open water swimmers. In addition, this suit features the best materials and technologies on the market. It is designed to maximize leg lift, helping to correct posture and keep the body in the most hydrodynamic position possible. It features 0.88 Free technology used in the forearms and upper back for total freedom with every stroke. Plus, it includes the unmatchable Exo-Lift technology with the extraordinarily buoyant Aerodome technology on the lower front part of the wetsuit, offering unbeatable lift where needed.
Features:
– Maximum flexibility in the upper trunk
– Maximum buoyancy in the lower trunk
– Maximum hydrodynamics
– Yamamoto Material
– YKK 8 zipper for improved elasticity and reduced water resistance
– Optimised with Ultimate Seal Collar: laser cut, specialized lining and reversed velcro
Technology:
– Yamamoto
The Yamamoto Corporation is the world’s main supplier of high performance neoprene. Their seal represents quality, technology and innovation.
-44+
Construction which features Nano Ice SCS treatment, which favours hydrodynamics to adapt to the most demanding swimmers, reducing water resistance to 68%.
– 38+
Treatment that guarantees good performance, reducing water resistance by 60%.
– 0.88 Free
A revolutionary material developed by Orca to offer the perfect balance between a high level of insulation and exceptional lightness. It is made from five layers with reflective titanium insulation. This results in a extremely elastic and flexible material with buoyancy and insulation as well as reduced drag in the water.
– Exo-Lift
It has a sandwich construction consisting of a neoprene layer, Aerodome technology and a third inner layer that has been specially treated. This last layer of neoprene guarantees 0% water absorption, so the buoyancy of this material does not vary throughout the exercise.
– HydroLite
The HydroLite panels help speed up transitions thanks to the use of SCS (Nano ICE in the Predator) which, combined with a special lining that absorbs less water, improves buoyancy and slides through water more easily, allowing the suit to be removed quicker during transitions.
– Aerodome 2
Underneath the 39cell neoprene porous surface, there are hundreds of air cavities which provide 30% greater buoyancy to the 5mm neoprene. The Aerodome panels are strategically placed around the heaviest parts of your body, lifting you up to an optimal position in the water. Aerodome 2 is an improvement using a new coating that improves buoyancy and comfort.
– CLS Core Lateral Stabilizer
This system provides additional support in the core area to prevent excessive rotation, improving the stability and efficiency of each stroke.
